Monte Amiata unveils revamped music festival and ASEA leadership meeting

The Amiata Music festival in Tuscany announced a radical new direction for its season, with events staged at the Forum Fondazione Bertarelli among the olive groves and vineyards of Monte Amiata. The program will feature internationally renowned artists such as Joyce DiDonato and Alice Sara Ott, and will incorporate experimental elements like Philippe Manoury’s AI‑driven live electronics. An artist residency for Trio Concept is scheduled for October.

On 6 August, the Associazione per lo Sviluppo Economico dell’Amiata (ASEA) met with the mayors of the Senese and Grossetano districts to present a refreshed organisational structure and to honour the late president Renzo Verdi. The gathering revisited the “Patto per l’Amiata” programme, highlighted the ongoing geothermal fund, and reaffirmed the association’s commitment to regional economic and community development.
