Monte Argentario serves as set for new Gucci miniseries

The Monte Argentario region in Italy, specifically Porto Santo Stefano and Ansedonia, is serving as the filming location for the new Sky Original miniseries ‘Gucci – Fine dei giochi’. Directed by Gabriele Muccino and produced by Lucky Red, the six-episode series is based on the memoir by Allegra Gucci.

The production aims to depict the rise and internal conflicts of the Gucci fashion dynasty across different timelines. The cast features Miriam Leone as Patrizia Reggiani, Francesco Scianna as Maurizio Gucci, and Matilda Lutz as Allegra Gucci.

The choice of location draws on the historical connection between the Gucci family and the Argentario promontory, notably through Giorgio Gucci. The series is expected to premiere on Sky and Now in 2027.
