Monte Bussan launches first white wine in Mammoth series

Monte Bussan has launched “Mammoth Chardonnay”, the first white wine in its popular “Mammoth” series. Following the success of the “Mammoth Zinfandel” red wine, which has sold over 500,000 bottles since 2015, this new addition aims to meet broader consumer demand.

Produced using Chardonnay grapes from the Puglia region of Italy, the wine is crafted through a blending process. Part of the wine is aged in oak barrels, while the remainder is aged on its lees for four to six months. This method results in a medium-bodied, dry white wine characterized by a smooth texture and rich, buttery aromas derived from the oak.

The wine features tasting notes of citrus and apple and is recommended for pairing with creamy dishes, seafood, and white meats. It is available in 750ml bottles with a suggested retail price of 2,885 yen (including tax).
