Monte Hermoso and UIBB sign agreement to boost local production

The Municipality of Monte Hermoso and the Unión Industrial de Bahía Blanca (UIBB) have signed a mutual collaboration framework agreement to strengthen the local productive sector. The agreement aims to improve company competitiveness and create new tools for economic development and employment.

Signed by Mayor Hernán Arranzy and UIBB President Gustavo Elías, the pact establishes an institutional framework to support both existing local businesses and new ventures looking to settle in Monte Hermoso. Key objectives include conducting diagnostics of the local productive fabric to identify growth opportunities and designing economic and service indicators to facilitate decision-making.

The agreement also includes technical assistance programs, specialized training, and initiatives to facilitate access to financing. Additionally, Monte Hermoso will join the UIBB's productive regionalization project to integrate the municipality into the industrial and economic development processes of the southwest Buenos Aires region.
