Chubut and Santa Cruz implement various infrastructure projects

Several regional governments in Argentina are advancing infrastructure projects to improve public services and safety. In Chubut, the provincial government is installing 155 LED luminaires on Provincial Route A26 between Rawson and Playa Magagna to enhance nighttime road safety. Additionally, the government has moved forward with the bidding process for coastal protection in Comodoro Rivadavia’s Kilómetro 5 neighborhood. This project, part of the Plan Galina, involves constructing a 390-meter rock armor system to combat coastal erosion, with Edisud S.A. submitting a bid of approximately $3.48 billion pesos.

In Santa Cruz, the provincial government, through Distrigas SA, signed an agreement with the Jaramillo and Fitz Roy Commission to expand the natural gas network in specific residential blocks. Furthermore, the Provincial Road Administration completed signaling and maintenance work at the José Muñiz Autodrome in Río Gallegos to improve safety for motorsports.

Other regional developments include the approval of a major water supply project in Sauce Grande, Monte Hermoso, with a budget exceeding $8.1 billion pesos. In Santa Fe, the new water treatment plant in Monte Vera has reached 95% completion, aiming to resolve long-standing issues with water turbidity and color.
