Monte Kronio Antiquarium officially reopens in Sciacca

The Antiquarium of Sciacca, located on Monte Kronio, has officially reopened following a prolonged closure. The facility had been inaccessible to the public since January 1, 2020, due to redevelopment works that were originally expected to last only six months but extended for over six years.

Recent efforts to complete the site included the installation of new display cases. As part of the ‘Le Vie dei Tesori’ event, the renovated Antiquarium will be included as a city stop. Additionally, the association Sipario 4 has organized guided tours within the museum for four weekends in October.
