Monte San Martino approves Calciano road restoration project

The executive project for the restoration of the Calciano municipal road in Monte San Martino has been approved. The project, authorized by the Ufficio Speciale Ricostruzione, includes a grant of 300,000 euros to repair damage and restore functionality to the rural road located in the Osoli area.

The road serves as a vital link for local agricultural businesses and access to cultivated lands. Extraordinary Commissioner Guido Castelli noted that repairing infrastructure in earthquake-affected areas is a backbone of the reconstruction process, particularly in less-served inland locations.

Mayor Matteo Pompei stated that the approval is a fundamental step in the strategy to secure municipal roads and provide safety and decorum to peripheral areas. The project is part of a public works program funded by a commissioner's ordinance.
