Monte San Savino hosts fourth Harmony Award to combat violence

The fourth edition of the Harmony Award #stopviolence took place in Monte San Savino, focusing on respect, inclusion, and the fight against all forms of violence through sport.

The event included the ‘Play Together’ afternoon activities, where local sports clubs and associations held demonstrations for families and children in the historic center. The evening ceremony at Teatro Verdi featured stories from various athletes and figures who have navigated personal challenges and contributed to social causes.

Nine awards were presented to individuals and organizations, including Alessandra Campedelli, Arezzo Calcio, Massimo Bonini, Massimo Colaci, Giacomo Galanda, Giovanni Galli, Giacomo Perini, Simona Rolandi, and Irene Vecchi. Campedelli, a volleyball coach, emphasized her ongoing commitment to women's rights through sports, while Arezzo Calcio was recognized following their return to Serie B.
