Montea invests €68 million in Antwerp and Frankfurt logistics sites

Montea, the Belgian real estate group, has announced a €68 million investment in two multimodal logistics locations in Europe.

In the Port of Antwerp, Montea acquired a 38,000 m² site from Vanguard Logistics through a sale-and-leaseback agreement. Under this arrangement, Vanguard Logistics will remain at the facility as a long-term tenant, continuing its specialized Less than Container Load (LCL) logistics operations. This acquisition is intended to strengthen Montea’s strategic presence in the Antwerp port area.

Simultaneously, Montea acquired a 23,000 m² logistics site at Frankfurt Airport within Cargo City South. This facility is fully leased to Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), a global provider of air freight handling and logistics. Both acquisitions involve long-term concession contracts for the land.
