Montecarlo implements nighttime restrictions for Festa del Vino

In Montecarlo, local authorities have implemented nighttime restrictions for the Festa del Vino, effective until September 8. To enhance public safety and maintain tranquility in the high-density historic center, a municipal ordinance prohibits the sale and service of alcoholic beverages in glass bottles or rigid containers between midnight and 6:00 AM.

Vendors are required to use cardboard or plastic containers instead. Additionally, all food and beverage sales, including non-alcoholic items, must cease by midnight for fixed-location businesses. To protect the rest of residents, the use of musical instruments or amplification to attract customers is also banned along specific streets during the festival.
