Montecarlo inaugurates new 911 Urban Security Center

Montecarlo has inaugurated a new Urban Security Center to strengthen crime prevention and accelerate police response times. The facility integrates with the provincial 911 network, expanding video surveillance coverage in strategic areas of the city.

Through a joint investment between the Province and the Municipality, new cameras connected via fiber optics have been installed at key locations, including Route 12 access points, avenues, roundabouts, plazas, and priority neighborhoods. This expansion brings the city's total to over 20 surveillance cameras.

The Misiones Police will manage permanent monitoring, utilizing operators and dispatchers to detect risks, issue alerts, and coordinate patrols. The system will also provide video records to assist in criminal investigations and judicial proceedings.
