Montecassiano implements SINAPSI project and hosts traditional festival
The town of Montecassiano is undergoing revitalization through the SINAPSI project, an initiative funded by the Marche Region. The project aims to strengthen connections between the towns of Montecassiano, Montelupone, and Montefano to create a unified and sustainable tourism offering.
As part of this effort, Piazza Unità d’Italia in Montecassiano has been redeveloped with new paving and updated underground services. The project also includes the installation of new urban furniture, such as seating and bicycle racks, to enhance the space for residents and visitors.
Additionally, Montecassiano is hosting the 51st edition of the Sagra dei Sughitti. This traditional festival celebrates the sughitti, a local sweet made from grape must, cornmeal, and walnuts. The event features cultural activities, including book presentations, exhibitions, and musical performances.
