Monteciccardo inaugurates renovated G. Rossini primary school

The G. Rossini primary school in Monteciccardo, Pesaro, has been officially inaugurated following a renovation and expansion project. The investment, totaling approximately 767,520 euros, aimed to create a larger, more functional, and sustainable educational environment for local children and families.

The project involved the renovation of roughly 750 square meters of the existing building and an expansion of 254 square meters, bringing the total surface area to 1,004 square meters. Key improvements include larger classrooms, a new teachers' lounge, updated restrooms, and a dedicated ground-floor refectory with a meal distribution area. The facility now accommodates five distinct classes.

Funding for the works, which took place between March 2025 and August 2026, was provided through 660,000 euros from the municipal administration and 107,520 euros from PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) resources. Mayor Andrea Biancani noted that this is the second of five new infrastructure projects scheduled for the 2026/2027 academic year intended to strengthen local community services.
