Monteforte Irpino joins 12th Camminata Rosa for breast cancer awareness

The municipality of Monteforte Irpino has announced its participation in the 12th Camminata Rosa, scheduled for Sunday, September 20. The event consists of a traditional march from Mercogliano to Avellino.

Created by oncologist Carlo Iannace, the initiative focuses on oncological prevention and breast cancer awareness within the Irpinia region. The event aims to promote early diagnosis and maintain public attention on health matters. Mayor Fabio Siricio stated that the administration joined the initiative to help spread a culture of prevention and support those affected by the disease.
