Monteiro municipality warns of irregular land sales in Industrial District

The Municipality of Monteiro has issued an alert regarding the irregular sale of land within its Industrial District. Local authorities reported an increase in unauthorized sales, unapproved expansions, disordered occupations, and constructions that do not comply with municipal standards.

According to the Administration Secretariat, land donated by the municipality cannot be sold, transferred, or negotiated without legal authorization. Illegal practices may result in fines, cancellation of the original donation, and the reclamation of the lots by the municipality.

To ensure legality, all residents and occupants in the Industrial District are required to participate in a new mandatory re-registration process through the Municipal Secretariat of Administration.
