Montemesola hosts international sports for Mediterranean Games

Montemesola, a small Italian municipality with fewer than 4,000 inhabitants, is hosting international competitions as part of the XX Mediterranean Games in Taranto.

The town’s sports hall is serving as the venue for bocce tournaments across various categories. The events have seen significant local engagement, with four consecutive sold-out evenings. In addition to indoor sports, the streets of Montemesola are hosting both men’s and women’s cycling races, bringing the international competition into the local community.
