Alentejo region hosts cultural events and regional development projects

Various cultural and regional developments are taking place across the Alentejo region of Portugal. In Évora, the municipal executive reported that 94% of the PRR projects related to the 2027 European Capital of Culture Bidbook have been executed within eight months. Key projects include the Antigos Celeiros da EPAC, Arena de Évora, and Rossio de São Brás, involving millions of euros in funding.

In Marvão, the first edition of the Marvão AirShow is being prepared, featuring aerial acrobatics and flight demonstrations. Meanwhile, Montemor-o-Novo has established a cooperation protocol with Cuba to strengthen ties in culture, sports, and youth, utilizing the historical Alentejo railway connection. The municipality also hosted the Expomor '26 fair, which included the RFM Dance Floor music event and various local tradition contests.
