Montemor-o-Novo announces strategic water and sanitation investments

The municipality of Montemor-o-Novo is preparing a series of strategic infrastructure investments focused on water, sanitation, and road networks. Mayor Carlos Pinto de Sá highlighted the importance of renewing the urban water cycle, specifically through the rehabilitation of four Wastewater Treatment Plants (ETAR): Lavre, Cabrela, Foros de Vale de Figueira, and São Geraldo.

These facilities have reached the end of their operational life cycles and require rehabilitation to ensure environmental protection and improved service quality. Technical studies are complete, and the project is moving into the execution phase. The planned investment exceeds one million euros, with works expected to advance next year.
