Montenegrin boxers prepare for European Championship in Sofia

Montenegrin boxers Miloš Roganović, Tomislav-Bato Đinović, and Bojana Gojković are set to compete in the European Boxing Championship in Sofia, Bulgaria. This tournament marks the first elite championship held under the new European Boxing Federation.

Miloš Roganović will begin his campaign in the under 70kg category against Azerbaijan’s Nabi Isgandarov in the round of 16. If successful, he will face the winner of the match between Croatia’s Fabijan Tomkić and Portugal’s João Ferreira.

Tomislav Đinović will compete in the under 60kg category, starting with a match against Turkey’s Mehmethan Çınar. Bojana Gojković will enter the competition in the under 57kg category, starting from the round of 16 against Iran’s Mihaela Volš.

National team coach Boško Drašković noted that the athletes have received a challenging draw, stating, “At this level, there are no easy opponents and no room for calculation.”
