Montenegrin Flautist Elena Golubović Represents Montenegro at China Youth Summer Camp

Elena Golubović, a fourth‑year high‑school student at the Vasa Pavić Music and Ballet School in Podgorica, was selected as one of two Montenegrin participants in the international "Youth Development for a Shared Future Summer Camp 2026". The camp ran from 19 to 25 July 2024 in Beijing and the Fujian province of China, bringing together more than 80 youths from 16 countries.

During the programme the participants visited sites such as the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, Xiamen, Quanzhou and Gulangyu Island, and took part in cultural activities with peers from other nations. Elena was chosen to speak at both the opening and closing ceremonies, presenting Montenegro in traditional folk costume.

The delegation follows a growing partnership between the school and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Montenegro, recently reinforced by a cooperation agreement with Ningbo Foreign Affairs School to expand future student and teacher exchanges. Elena said the experience broadened her horizons and will remain a cherished memory.
