Montenegrin folk costume coloring book returns to market

A popular coloring book titled ‘Montenegrin Coloring Book – Folk Costumes of Montenegro’ has returned to the market in a second, expanded edition. Following a limited non-commercial release last year, the new bilingual edition features 1,000 copies intended for schools, bookstores, souvenir shops, and tourists.

The book includes 40 detailed illustrations of male and female folk costumes from various regions of Montenegro, ranging from ceremonial attire to specific styles from the north and the coast. The illustrations are by Monika Lang, with expert contributions from ethnologist Tatjana Rajković of the Ethnographic Museum of Montenegro. The edition also includes a sheet of stickers to serve as a coloring guide.

In addition to the print version, a digital coloring application has been launched with support from the Ministry of Culture and Media. The app is available for free on iOS and Android and currently offers nearly 100 drawings related to Montenegrin landscapes, birds, forests, and plants.
