Montenegrin MPs spent over 213,000 euros on official travel

Members of the Parliament of Montenegro spent a total of 213,769.87 euros on official domestic and international travel during the first six months of 2026. This figure includes transportation, accommodation, and various other expenses.

In addition to travel costs, 36,469.06 euros were paid out in per diems for the same period. Data released by the Assembly shows that ten specific MPs received more than half of the total per diem amount, totaling 18,305.35 euros.

Most travel was related to work within international parliamentary organizations, such as the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, the Inter-Parliamentary Union, and the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. Individual travel records included destinations such as Washington, Vienna, Tbilisi, Budapest, Istanbul, Copenhagen, Strasbourg, Rome, and Yerevan.
