Montenegro expels six Ukrainian citizens over organized crime suspicions
The Montenegrin Police Administration has expelled six Ukrainian citizens from the country following an investigation into their potential links to a high-risk organized crime group.
Authorities revoked the temporary protection status previously granted to the individuals, citing risks to internal and national security. The expelled persons, identified by initials and ages ranging from 28 to 33, were forcibly removed through the Podgorica Airport and Božaj border crossings. They have been issued a five-year ban on re-entering Montenegro.
During the multi-day operation, police seized various items, including communication devices, GPS tracking equipment, drones, and tools for binding. The police stated that these measures were taken to prevent illegal activities within the country and to maintain a stable security environment.
