Montenegrin prosecutors investigate rigged Customs Administration director selection
The Prosecutor's Office is investigating allegations that the selection process for the Director of the Customs Administration was rigged. A criminal complaint has been filed against several individuals, including Agron Camaj, Director of Human Resources, and Nataša Boljević, Head of the Advertising Department, on suspicion of abuse of official position.
The investigation also focuses on Predrag Radovanović, the acting secretary of the Ministry of European Affairs, regarding the potential falsification of documents. At the center of the complaint is a certificate from a private tourism company used by Radovanović to prove management experience. Although the document was explicitly issued ‘for the purpose of establishing employment’ and stated it could not be used for other purposes, it was accepted during the selection process.
The complaint suggests that the involved parties may have acted in an organized manner between May 15 and June 22, 2026, to predetermine the outcome of the competition.
