Montenegro and Bosnia spend over €1 million renovating sports facilities

The municipality of Tivat in Montenegro allocated €150,000 to refurbish five local sports courts, installing new playing surfaces, basketball hoops, protective nets, benches and a small stand. The upgrades also included a modernised children's playground on the coastal zone of Lepetani. The improvements aim to enhance conditions for sport, recreation and community use.

In Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Sports‑Cultural‑Economic Center "Mejdan" received new sports flooring for its small hall, training hall and fitness centre, funded with more than 660,000 convertible marks by the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the city. The project replaced the old parquet, enabling the venue to host high‑level handball, futsal, volleyball and basketball competitions and improving facilities for local clubs and national teams.
