Montenegro bans Serbian media chief Dragana Vučićević, Serbia threatens retaliation

Montenegrin police have barred Dragana Vučićević, owner and editor of the Serbian daily Informer, from entering Montenegro, citing his alleged hate speech against the country during the recent summit in Tivta. Vučićević denied ever attending the summit or making any insults, and pointed out that his TV program is already prohibited from broadcasting in Montenegro.

Serbian officials are said to be preparing a strong reciprocal response, possibly extending entry bans to a list of Montenegrin citizens, including media editors and public figures, if the ban is confirmed. The move could further strain already tense Serbia‑Montenegro relations, which have been marked by a series of diplomatic disputes.
