Montenegro Employment Agency union leader files criminal complaint against director

Đorđe Bojanić, president of the Employment Agency of Montenegro (ZZZCG) trade union organization, has filed a criminal complaint against the agency's director, David Perčobić. The complaint, submitted to the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, alleges that Perčobić abused his position to cause harm to Bojanić.

Bojanić claims that Perčobić issued an illegal act to reassign him from his position as an independent advisor to a call center operator role without his consent. Bojanić asserts that the call center position is not part of the agency's official systematization and requires lower educational qualifications, making the move a degrading demotion.

The union representative alleges that this action is a form of systematic persecution and discrimination intended to pressure the union following its inquiries into management irregularities. Bojanić argues that the move violates labor laws designed to protect union representatives from being placed in unfavorable positions due to their union activities.
