Montenegro enterprise turnover reaches 13.94 billion euros

Enterprises in Montenegro recorded a total turnover of 13.94 billion euros in 2025, representing a 9.6 percent increase of 1.22 billion euros compared to 2024, according to data from the Statistical Office of Montenegro (MONSTAT).

The trade sector, including wholesale, retail, and motor vehicle repair, was the primary driver of this growth, accounting for 6.46 billion euros or 46.4 percent of total turnover. This sector saw a 14.3 percent increase, contributing approximately two-thirds of the total net increase in turnover across all observed activities.

Other notable sectors included construction, which recorded 1.44 billion euros in turnover (a 13.1 percent increase), and the manufacturing industry, which reached 1.25 billion euros (a 4.4 percent increase). In the third quarter of 2026, retail turnover specifically grew by 9.2 percent nominally, with motor fuel sales seeing the highest annual growth rate at 31.6 percent.
