Montenegro featured at Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival

Montenegro has been named the country in focus for the industry program of the 30th Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival (IDFF), held in the Czech Republic from October 23 to November 1. Organized in collaboration with the Film Center of Montenegro, the program will showcase six projects by Montenegrin authors at the Jihlava New Visions Forum.

Selected projects include ‘Katalog’ by Andrije Mugoša, which explores the complexities of documenting women from Albania who married into Montenegro, and ‘Il Genio’ by Ivan Marinović, which follows the career of Dejan Savićević. The festival's industry days will include matchmaking sessions, roundtables, and access to the New Visions Market to facilitate international distribution and production for the featured filmmakers.
