Montenegro Finance Minister Vuković Confirms Ongoing IMF Support for Reforms

Montenegro's finance minister, Novica Vuković, met with IMF mission chief Jeff Danforth and his team. The officials reviewed progress on the country's reform agenda, noting improvements in the fiscal framework, institutional capacity and public‑finance management while maintaining macro‑economic stability despite a challenging global environment.

The IMF praised Montenegro’s visible advancement and pledged continued technical assistance. A new series of expert missions is planned for November to further strengthen fiscal capacity and better prepare the nation for the final stage of its EU accession process.
