At a recent assembly of the Football Association of Montenegro (FSCG), President Dejan Savićević addressed the disappointing performance of Montenegrin clubs in European competitions, noting ten losses this summer. He emphasized that clubs must improve organization and preparation to remain competitive internationally.

Regarding officiating, Savićević stated that while the FSCG does not oppose the introduction of VAR technology, the association lacks the funds to finance it. On player recruitment, Savićević confirmed that Stuttgart striker Dženan Pejčinović has declined to play for the Montenegro national team. However, the association remains committed to pursuing Juventus player Adin Ličina. Additionally, Savićević addressed media scrutiny regarding stadium construction, noting he has been questioned by the Special Police Department twice without further legal developments.
