Montenegro Foreign Minister faces nepotism allegations

Montenegrin Foreign Minister Ervin Ibrahimović is facing scrutiny regarding allegations of nepotism within the government. Reports indicate that several of the Minister's family members have secured positions in state-related entities. His daughter, Aldina Ibrahimović, is employed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and has been assigned to the Permanent Mission of Montenegro to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. Additionally, Ibrahimović's wife holds a position at CEDIS, and his brother has been employed by the Montenegrin Electricity Market Operator (COTEE).

These appointments come amid broader concerns regarding employment opportunities for highly qualified young professionals and specialists in the country who remain unemployed.
