Montenegro Health Minister meets with Association of Women Leaders

Montenegrin Health Minister Vojislav Šimun met with representatives from the Association of Women Leaders of Montenegro, including Zorica Mišković Pavićević, Anđela Raičković, and Jelena Radonjić Đurković, to discuss intensifying cooperation on women's health awareness.

The meeting focused on promoting preventive programs and timely medical examinations, particularly in observance of ‘Pink October’. Discussions centered on the prevention and early detection of breast cancer, with the goal of creating a social environment where health care is a continuous and responsible priority.

Minister Šimun emphasized that modern health policy should shift focus from treating consequences to prevention and early disease recognition. He stated that the objective is to make preventive check-ups a natural part of a health-conscious culture, ensuring women have access to information and trust in the healthcare system.
