Montenegro holds first training camp for women's water polo candidates

The Water Polo and Swimming Federation of Montenegro (VPSCG) has launched a new initiative to develop women's water polo, marking a historic milestone during the centenary of the sport in the country.

For the first time, a training camp has been organized for candidates for the Montenegrin women's national water polo team. The gathering includes 22 girls from clubs across Montenegro, born between 2010 and 2016. The coaching staff is led by head coach Jelena Radunović and assistant coach Sreten Latković.

The program aims to build a high-quality player base and create opportunities for young girls to compete internationally. Participants include players from coastal clubs and members of the Budućnost women's team.
