Montenegro holds Horizon Europe project proposal training
The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation of Montenegro conducted a three-day training session aimed at improving capacity for preparing project proposals within the Horizon Europe program. Held from September 28 to October 1 at the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro in Podgorica, the event brought together representatives from various sectors interested in participating in European research and innovation projects.
Participants engaged in lectures and practical workshops covering essential elements of high-quality proposal development. Topics included project idea presentation, defining expected results and impact, implementation planning, budgeting, and risk mitigation. The curriculum also addressed interdisciplinary approaches, open science, data management, communication, and the potential use of AI tools in the proposal preparation process.
The training was led by Professor Goran Stojanović from the Faculty of Technical Sciences at the University of Novi Sad. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to support Montenegrin researchers, institutions, and companies in strengthening their ability to participate in the Horizon Europe framework.
