Montenegro launches first digital coloring book application

Montenegro has launched its first digital coloring book application as part of the ‘Digital Colours of Montenegro’ project. The bilingual app is available for free on iOS, Android, and via the Mansarda web platform.

The project is a digital evolution of the ‘Crnogorska bojanka’ series, which has released over 35 print editions with a total circulation exceeding 70,000 copies since 2021. The new application was developed through the collaboration of CS Cassiopeia and Studio Ribizla, who have joined forces to form the publishing entity Mansarda.

The app currently features nearly 100 drawings across four themes: ‘Wonderful Montenegro’ (landscapes and cities), ‘Birds of Montenegro’, ‘Forests of Montenegro’, and ‘From the Garden’ (fruits and vegetables). The interface is designed for young children, allowing them to select colors and brush thicknesses while ensuring lines remain visible during the coloring process.
