Montenegro President Milatović announces €180,000 raised for oncology institute

Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović announced that a humanitarian initiative titled ‘Victory Begins with an Examination’ has raised over €180,000 for the Oncology Institute of the Clinical Center of Montenegro. The fundraising goal was exceeded during a humanitarian concert held at the Royal Theater ‘Zetski Dom’ in Cetinje.

The initiative, launched by Milatović and his wife Milena as part of Pink October, aims to raise awareness for breast cancer prevention and early detection. The funds are designated for upgrading the Oncology Institute’s facilities and purchasing vehicles for patient transport to improve treatment conditions.

The event was organized by the Cabinet of the President of Montenegro in collaboration with the Capital Cetinje, the Royal Theater ‘Zetski Dom’, and the Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra.
