Montenegro Ministry of Education announces supplementary high school enrollment

The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MPNI) has announced a supplementary competition for enrollment in the first grade of secondary schools in Montenegro for the 2026/2027 school year. A total of 2,182 enrollment spots are available.

The breakdown of available positions includes 559 spots for gymnasium programs, 780 for four-year vocational programs, 746 for three-year vocational programs, and 97 spots in the field of music arts. Applications must be submitted electronically between August 17 and August 20, 2026.

During the application period, updated ranking lists will be published daily at 16:00 to inform candidates of their status. The final ranking list is expected to be posted on school notice boards by August 25. Students enrolling in three-year vocational programs have the option of dual education, which allows for individual contracts with employers and provides specific compensation rates based on the average net salary in Montenegro.
