Montenegro Ministry processes 7,389 forestry worker claims

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management has completed the processing of 7,389 requests for financial support from former employees in the wood processing and forestry industries.

The Ministry categorized the applications into three groups: cases with complete documentation, 1,133 cases requiring additional documentation, and 412 cases where there are grounds for rejection.

The final issuance of legally valid decisions is currently pending data from the Ministry of Finance and the Employment Fund regarding previously executed payments. This coordination is required to verify social program payouts and severance related to technological redundancies in former state-owned companies.
