Belgrade father stabbed in Zvezdara home; three women arrested

Around 02:00 a.m. on 1 July, Lj. G., 47, was attacked with a knife in his daughter’s apartment in the Zvezdara district of Belgrade. His pregnant daughter K. G. witnessed the assault, during which three women – two sisters and a friend – entered the home, used a knife taken from the residence and inflicted severe injuries on the father. He lost consciousness but was revived by emergency responders and survived with serious injuries.

Police detained suspect S. K., 19, on suspicion of family‑violence offences. After a 48‑hour detention and interrogation, she was released pending further legal proceedings. K. G. reported that the women later returned to the house, threatened the family and posted messages on social media. The incident was forwarded to the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade for investigation.
