Montenegro President Jakov Milatović Backs AI to Create Jobs and Boost Education and Health

President Jakov Milatović said artificial intelligence can generate well‑paid jobs and improve public services in Montenegro. He called for investment in research, development and skilled talent, stressing ethical guidelines and tangible benefits for citizens.

Milatović opened the Eastern European Summer School of Machine Learning (EEML 2026) in Cetinje, gathering around 250 international Ph‑D students, researchers and AI experts. The event is organized by the local AI association MAIA in partnership with Google DeepMind, aiming to position Montenegro as a recognized hub for AI innovation and to enhance education and healthcare through new technologies.
