Montenegro President Milatović proposes passports for Đoković family

Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović has announced an initiative to grant Montenegrin passports to tennis star Novak Đoković and his family. Milatović stated that the move is intended to further strengthen the connection between the athlete and Montenegro, noting that Đoković works extensively to promote the country globally.

In separate diplomatic developments, President Milatović received the outgoing Czech Ambassador, Janina Hrebičková, for a farewell visit. He expressed gratitude for her contributions to strengthening political, economic, and institutional cooperation between Montenegro and the Czech Republic, specifically highlighting Czech support for Montenegro’s European integration path. The two also discussed the President's upcoming visit to the Czech Republic.
