Traffic disruptions reported across Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro
Drivers in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro are facing significant traffic disruptions due to roadworks, landslides, and weather conditions.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, multiple sections of the A-1 highway are affected. The Kakanj-Lašva section is closed to all vehicles, with traffic diverted to the opposite side of the motorway. Additionally, the Golubinja-Nemila sub-section is closed due to ongoing construction, rerouting traffic to the M-17 road. Other areas, such as the Klopče tunnel entrance, report slowed traffic due to retaining wall repairs. Landslides have also forced single-lane alternating traffic on several regional and main roads, including sections near Prijedor, Kozarska Dubica, and Prnjavor. Fog is also reported to be reducing visibility in valleys and along riverbanks.
In Montenegro, major disruptions include the complete suspension of traffic on the Đurđevića Tara bridge (M-6) until October 26 due to reconstruction. The Sozina tunnel is also subject to alternating traffic and potential short-term closures for maintenance. Drivers are advised to exercise caution due to wet and slippery road surfaces.
