Regional literary events and book fairs announced

Several literary and cultural events are taking place across the region. In Montenegro, the poetry collection ‘Anima’ by Mirjana Mitraković was presented at the ‘Njegoš’ National Library, featuring 46 poems and graphics by Jelena Vušurović. Additionally, the book ‘I snažna i važna – priče koje nosiš u sebi’, authored by Adrijana Husić and Lidija Ivanović, was launched in Podgorica. This work combines psychological insights with personal stories from 25 Montenegrin municipalities.

In Serbia, the 69th International Belgrade Book Fair is scheduled from October 23 to 31, featuring 300 direct exhibitors and Tunisia as the guest of honor. The event aims to bring together authors, publishers, and readers under the slogan ‘Words Build the World’.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the National Library of Mostar is hosting the 5th ‘Libraries for a Better Tomorrow’ international conference from October 22 to 24. The event will gather librarians from across the region to discuss the future of librarianship and the role of libraries in modern society, coinciding with the library’s 80th anniversary.
