Montenegro to host Berlin Process Summit at Sveti Stefan

Montenegro will host the Berlin Process Leaders' Summit on October 21 and 22 at Sveti Stefan. The event is expected to be opened by Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajić and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

The summit serves as the culmination of Montenegro's presidency of the Berlin Process and will bring together leaders from the Western Balkans, Berlin Process member states, and high-ranking officials from the European Union and various international organizations. The gathering aims to support decision-making processes that promote further European integration for the region.

In addition to the main summit, Montenegro will host several high-level ministerial meetings throughout September and October. These include meetings on ecology in Žabljak, youth issues in Podgorica, economy in Cetinje, and foreign affairs in Budva. Other scheduled sessions will focus on Roma issues, digital governance, and scientific research.
