Montenegro tourism concerns raised by reports of sewage and illness

A Polish tourist has reported a highly distressing vacation experience in Montenegro, citing severe sanitation and health concerns. The traveler described encountering floating sewage, waste, and brown foam in the water during her stay.

In addition to water pollution, the tourist reported widespread reports of food poisoning among others and observed local vendors selling partially thawed ice cream, which poses a salmonella risk. Despite consuming bottled water, the family suffered from symptoms including fever, vomiting, diarrhea, and chills.
