Montenegro Tourism Earns International Hotel and Destination Honors

Condé Nast Traveller has named Swissôtel Kolašin Resort one of Montenegro’s best hotels. The resort, opened in 2024, offers 116 rooms, direct ski‑area access on Kolašin’s 1,600‑metre slopes, a spa with a 15‑metre pool, and mountain‑style interiors featuring local woodwork and handcrafted rugs.

At the same time, Montenegro has been shortlisted for the Destination of the Year award in the Food and Travel Reader Awards 2026. The British magazine’s reader‑vote shortlist will be decided through a final voting phase, with the winners announced at a gala in London on 23 November. The nomination adds to Montenegro’s recent recognitions, including listings for emerging European destinations and nature awards.
