Montenegro upgrades school sports fields at OŠ Radojica Perović in Podgorica
Work has begun on the adaptation and modernization of the sports grounds at the public primary school "Radojica Perović" in Podgorica under the "Nek’ se čuje lopta" project. The launch was attended by Minister of Education, Science and Innovation Anđela Jakšić Stojanović, Minister of Sport and Youth Zoran Jojić, Podgorica Mayor Saša Mujović, CAMS director Milorad Šutulović and school director Dijana Laković.
The officials highlighted that school sports facilities are essential for a healthy educational environment, allowing children to develop healthy habits, teamwork and discipline. Jakšić Stojanović said the start of works marks the project’s transition into a concrete implementation phase, while Jojić stressed that investing in school sport infrastructure is an investment in children’s health and development. Mujović added that the upgraded sports field will benefit not only the school but the wider community, contributing to a healthier and more active Podgorica.
