Montenegro's Jaz Beach ranks among Europe's top 50 beaches for 2026

Jaz Beach near Budva has been placed 35th on the World’s 50 Beaches ranking for 2026, the only Montenegrin entry on the list. The panel of travel writers, photographers and sustainable‑tourism experts highlighted the beach’s long (1.2 km) stretch, clear Mediterranean water, wide sandy‑shingle area and its dual character as both a natural haven and a major open‑air concert venue, notably hosting the Sea Dance Festival.

Accommodation options for the 2026 summer season range from private apartments and studios at €40‑60 per night, villas and modern apartments at €90‑160, to a campsite priced between €15‑40. Sun‑lounger sets typically cost €15‑30, with a common price of €20 for two loungers and an umbrella.
