Montenegro's Tivat EU-Western Balkans Summit Gains Record Global Media Coverage

More than 400 domestic, regional and international media outlets, including Reuters, Associated Press, The Guardian, Euronews and Brussels Times, were accredited to cover the EU‑Western Balkans Summit held in Tivat, Montenegro. The summit brought together European and Balkan leaders, with President Jakov Milatović acting as host.

International reports highlighted Montenegro as a leading candidate for future EU membership and emphasized its role in the bloc’s enlargement agenda. Coverage also promoted the Montenegrin coast as a tourist destination, extending the event’s impact beyond politics to the country’s image abroad.
